This is a very special experience. It’s art and vision board and poetry and writing and listening to absolute strangers who become friends in a sanctuary that is warm and artsy and beautiful adjacent to the bay and the tidal flats. You get to walk away with an art project that you create with your own hands and a poem that was created by collaborative writing and listening. We were lucky to have a mixed handful of special souls all in different paths in life and it was just miraculous and very human to know that we could all connect in this difficult time as we rebuild our lives and friendships after a pandemic. You will be changed by Mary’s hosting and poetic soul.Wow. This was a fun and powerful experience. The place inspires creativity, and the host is a wonderful teacher and human being. I am going to book another experience with her...definitely recommend.

Mary created a warm, welcoming experience. I immediately felt comfortable having a new experience. The location couldn't be more perfect; we watched the tide come in as we mediated on a question you're wrestling with, seeking wisdom on the answer in a few ways, free form painting being one of them. It was a delight and emotional at times. I left with surprising insight, another tool in my emotional toolbox, and having had a good time.

What if you had the chance to really connect with someone, but you let it pass you by? What if you realized your life’s purpose, but never made your dreams come true? Or in Mary’s words, what if you were wild? What if you were naughty?... We apparently *don’t live only once; but why wait until the next lifetime to make it count? This workshop put this in perspective for me and gave permission to throw out the rules... As adults, we aren’t often given that opportunity, being so caught up in mundane day- to- day activities. But it’s important to stop and reflect on all of this, before our lives pass us by... This workshop was a positive and memorable experience for me and I had so much fun!

I had a wonderful experience. I continued to observe my feelings and images such as my distant memory and inspiration from this land during deep meditation. For example, fear, curiously, and relief. Tears came naturally. It was mysterious. My feelings have changed during painting. I got freedom. Thank you for a great time.

My experience with Mary and her workshop, Painting Your Past Life, has gifted me with an increased sense of personal freedom. "This was an amazing experience. By journeying and meditation, Mary has gently guided us to areas of our soul that - somewhere along the way through our life - have been touched in ways that still move us today - sometimes hidden in the depth of our unconsciousness. Under the impression of these dives into some of those deeper layers we continued to explore and express ourselves through color on paper. It was amazing to see how the images from inside reflected on the outside.
